Notes:

  • I used Aztec brand tortilla, it’s hard to find on the east coast, but check out Walmart, Sometimes they have it in the cheese section.
  • You can use Chi-Chi’s tortilla if you can’t find Aztec.
  • The Taco Bell sauce bottle is sold at Walmart and some Indian grocery stores
  • If you can’t find Taco Bell sauce, Trader joe’s has a good taco sauce.
  • Use any sauce you like, Mild, Hot or Fire. I like Fire.

  1. Hi
Thank you for this recipe! I live in Vancouver and Taco Bell was a nice treat whenever we went across the border. Just wanted to know if the tortillas can be baked for a healthier version?

    Thanks

  2. Hi quick question… do you toast the pizza or bake it at a certain temp? Whenever I try to bake it gets soggy instead of crisp… so I am just trying find the right temp or method…

    1. I use a conventional oven and use toast setting. You can try to broil it so it just melts the cheese.

  3. Hi, for the air fryer option, do you have to flip the tortilla midway or do you just put it in for 3-5 minutes and then it’s good to go? Also are the aztec tortillas the ones that are uncooked or are they the cooked ones like a burrito?

  4. so its flour tortillas not corn correct? Also I see walmart Azteca is that the brand?
